Santiago Ramones

Composer, Podcaster, Producer, Songwriter, Performer I’m <a href="https://santiagoramones.com/" target="_blank">Santiago Ramones</a>. I was born in Venezuela but came to the US in 2001 on my 6th birthday. I
 am a composer, producer, and singer-songwriter. I like to expand among a
 variety of genres, shifting for the sake of the stories being told in 
my compositions and songwriting. My debut album, <a href="https://santiagoramones.com/">Bloom</a>, is a time capsule of my beginnings as a composer. It’s an ambient album. Bloom was released on August 8th, 2020. I have a Master’s degree in Music Composition from the <a href="https://www.uco.edu/">University of Central Oklahoma</a>, as well as a Bachelor’s and Associate’s degree in Contemporary Music Production from <a href="http://acm.uco.edu/">ACM@UCO</a>. I’ve done scores for short films and themes for YouTube channels and podcasts. I am a member, and the manager, of <a href="https://infinitonemusic.com/powercycle">Power Cycle</a> - an experimental electroacoustic music trio of composers with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9AzzPe3_Yex64U5gkRIShQ">J.R. Edwards</a> and <a href="https://breckmcgough.com">Breck McGough</a>. Power Cycle’s debut album, <a href="https://infinitonemusic.com/powercyclemusic">Too Many Damn Cables</a>, is entirely improvised music. I have a podcast called <a href="https://santiagoramones.com/podcast">Bit Depth</a>,
 which I started in March of 2016, and I’ve recorded 250+ episodes and 
interviewed 100+ people. On the podcast, I interview interesting people 
about what they do, why they do it, and what they believe. Topics range 
from spirituality to society and culture, to art and philosophy, but 
sometimes it also gets silly among the depth. One of my biggest 
hobbies is video games. I’ve been playing and enjoying video games since
 my childhood. Single-player, artistic indie games are what I gravitate 
towards; games like Transistor, INSIDE, The Witness, Outer Wilds, and many other similar titles. I also play Magic: The Gathering and other tabletop games with friends. I’ve also contributed to and performed with <a href="https://www.facebook.com/solsticecosplaygroup/">Solstice Cosplay</a>, where I was a Night Guard from Five Nights at Freddy's in the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kShZmWHn4yQ">&quot;Sixth Night&quot;</a> skit, Levi Ackerman from Attack on Titan in the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4To4s8hglVY">&quot;Little Orphan Eren&quot;</a> skit as well as the <a href="https://youtu.be/U0AZMZ3_zs0">&quot;The World Beyond These Walls&quot;</a> skit, James from Pokemon in the <a href="https://youtu.be/OCe7c8xXgZQ">&quot;I Choose You&quot;</a> skit, and an eyeball monster in <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoCNt4gpQrw">“Find Your Way”</a>, a Final Fantasy skit. I also arranged, recorded, and produced all of the audio and music for those skits. I currently live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with my wife, Sable, and our cat, Marnie.
