Bit Depth 139 - Politics with Dakota

Hello, and again, welcome to Bit Depth. I’m Santiago Ramones.

Dakota and I started with discussing Star Wars, which has some rich lore. But then we get to what we really wanted to talk about, which was politics. Obviously, we don’t agree on everything, but it’s amazing what you can find that you agree on with someone when you get to sit down and talk like real human beings. I was glad to have the conversation. You can find Dakota’s bands on Instagram:

Bit Depth 138 - Dakota Green

Hello, and again, welcome to Bit Depth. I’m Santiago Ramones.

Dakota Green is the drummer for Kat Lock, The Sweet Talkers, and Pluto Rest in Peace. Normally, I get people on the podcast that I’m usually pretty friendly with and we end up becoming more friendly. However, Dakota and I have argued every once in a while on Facebook, and I didn’t like that. So, instead of sitting back and getting bitter about our differences, I decided that I wanted to get him on the podcast so that we could better understand our differences and get past them. I’m glad I did, because that’s what happens when you sit down and have a civilized conversation with the people you disagree with. So, get to know Dakota!

REPOST: Bit Depth 20 - Collective vs. Individual with Caleb

Hello, and again, welcome to Bit Depth. I’m Santiago Ramones.

I had recorded a podcast for this week, but I was unable to use it due to my own recording mistake. Instead, here’s a repost of a podcast with an old friend. He passed away earlier this year and I miss him dearly.

The text from the original posting:

“After the first conversation with Caleb, he and I spent a long time talking about stuff and wanted to keep that conversation going, since we didn't get it on record. We discuss stuff like the collective vs. the individual, ideal societies, technology, and economics. While it may seem that we get a bit against each other, rest assured that we're totally civil and have absolutely no hard feelings. Such is the nature of ideological conflict. Caleb is a great friend and I look forward to having him on the podcast with other people, too.”

Bit Depth 130 - Conspiracy Theories with Sable

Hello, and again, welcome to Bit Depth. I'm Santiago Ramones.

Sable wanted to talk about conspiracy theories on the podcast, so we put on our tin foil hats and discussed crazy stuff! We talked about the Mandela Effect, 9/11, Flat Earth Theory, and Simulation Theory, among other things! You can find Sable's stuff on Instagram @sableann_creations
A note about audio: for some reason, both of our microphones ended up a little distorted, and mine actually cut out at times, so in order to hear me during those times, I had to amplify Sable's audio, so you'll hear some noise when that happens. I'm not sure what happened (perhaps the government is onto us), but I will definitely double/triple check next time!
